Soon we’ll be looking at a whole crop of new 2015 vehicles and concepts in the Jacob Javits Center for the New York International Auto Show. This year’s show will showcase the return of Alfa Romeo to the U.S with the highly anticipated 4C. Italian design coupled with carbon-fiber monocoque construction and a turbocharged engine, the new 4C will combine an exhilarating drive with a hint of exclusivity.
The Cadillac Elmiraj will also show up in concept form, showcasing a new twin-turbo V8 powerplant outputting 500hp. This new engine didn’t fall far from the twin-turbo V6 tree found in the upcoming CTS-Vsport edition.
The Nissan Sport Sedan Concept will also be on display. This four door has doubled down on the Nissan design language of the boomerang headlights and V-Motion front end. Powered by the 3.5 liter V-6 Nissan workhorse found everywhere else, this front wheel drive sedan concept is expected to put out well over 300hp.
A guaranteed BRZ/GT-86/FR-S – 370z – Mustang – Camaro – every other RWD sports car out there – competitor, the Kia GT-4 Stinger will come out fighting equipped with a turbocharged 315hp mated to a man’s transmission
The modern interpretation of the legendary Toyota 2000GT is also scheduled for the show. The Toyota FT-1 Concept, devised by Calty Design Research in Gran Turismo, will be a traditional FR configuration blended with modern technology and design.
