Jaguar XF & Land Rover Range Rover SV Autobiography

Jaguar and quintessential British-ness have long gone hand and hand. Stiff upper lip and so on.  Same applies to Land Rover but with more go anywhere ruggedness.  Today they both revealed two new models.

First let’s talk the new Range Rover SV Autobiography.  Silly name aside this is the last word in luxury for the elite who also happen to live in a jungle.  The SV auto has all the luxury you’d expect. The highest quality leather, reclining seats, fold down tables in the rear and calf supports.  Polish metal and wood veneer adorn rear trunk floor. To quote Land Rover, “It looks expensive because it is.”  No pricing was given but I assume it’s one of those “if you have to ask you can’t afford it” deals.

Jaguar launched its brand new XF. With a wide array of engine options and lightweight design Jag is promising some impressive performance figures.  The supercharged v6 will accelerate from zero to 60 in 5 seconds flat.  Inside you’ll find an impressive amount of technology. Faster processors bigger screens and a gps that can predict where you’re going makes this the most advanced Jaguar ever.  Best yet all this tech is available on Land Rovers as well.
