1650 hp 1970 Dodge Challenger Tantrum – Jay Leno’s Garage

So you may remember the post I did on the insane Mercury Marine QC4V engine. In short the QC4V is a 9.0 liter, double overhead cam, twin turbocharged beast that started life as an LS. It produced a mind shredding, 1650 horsepower. You may have even wondered to yourself why on earth were we featuring an engine built by a company that builds engines for boats? After all, this is a car enthusiast website and we don’t really do boats. Well, the lunatics (I use that in the most respectful way possible) over at SpeedKore Performance have shoehorned that beast of a motor into a 1970 Dodge Challenger. They call it Tantrum and the end result is completely insane and massively awesome. If you haven’t already stop what you’re doing and watch the latest installment of Jay Leno’s Garage.
