F1 Will Return To U.S. For Grand Prix This October at COTA

Breaking news out of Texas where COTA has officially announced that there will be a U.S. GP this year.

This is excellent news as there have been reports of F1 leaving the U.S. altogether due to a funding issue from the state. Last year there was a special performance by Elton John, but this year we’ll see pop star Taylor Swift. While we’re not really looking forward to that part of the festivities, it’s great news for motorsports in the U.S.

F1 needs a presence here and COTA is absolutely the venue for it, being arguably the best American track available for hosting.

More details as they come, but we’re happy F1 is back!
