Reporter Nearly Gets Crushed By Car Crash Live On Air

WHOA! This is one of the closest calls I think I’ve ever seen.

In Oakland California, KTVU reporter Alex Savidge was standing along the side of the road reporting on a local topic du jour. What about, we’re unsure about at this time. What we do know is that the video below shows two cars entering the intersection they were standing at and nearly creaming both Alex and his cameraperson.

Here’s the cheek-clenching video.

That is nuts. KTVU’s twitter account has confirmed all parties are okay and no one was seriously injured. Thankfully everyone got away from this accident, but it’s a stark reminder that we should slow down in the mornings. The world won’t end if we’re not in to work on time.
