Brave Man Pushes The Limit In A Classic 300 SL

Classic rallies are something of dilemma for me. On one hand classic cars, on the other the cars are never pushed. It’s basically a parade of classics from yesteryear. For someone my age that is a bit of a bummer, I never got to see these things run in anger. There is a very good reason owners don’t thrash on their classic cars, some can cost an absolute fortune. Then consider they aren’t very driver friendly and one bad move by one idiot and your priceless machine becomes an inexpensive heap of twisted metal. Take the 1955 Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing. These things can go for hundreds of thousands even millions of dollars. So you could excuse someone for not getting on it during a rally stage. Well, nobody told Daniel Muller. Back in the 2012 Arosa Classic Car rally Mr. Muller, as you will see, is not shy with this particular 300 SL. He even 4 wheel drifts it at one point. I can not accurately describe the level of awesome this is, so sit back and enjoy a classic on the limit.

About Chad Kennedy

Chad burst from the womb wearing a racing suit and a helmet. Chad's passion for cars is in his very DNA. His father was a gear head and passed on the tradition through owning such classics as a '66 Mustang and a '59 Corvette all while taking him to various race tracks in the area. Chad likes to wrench on his rides whenever possible, forgoing the stealership. Chad is an avid motorsports fan with particular interest in endurance/sports car racing.
