QUIZ: How Well Do You Know Japanese Engines?

Some how, some way I have fallen into the role of “JDM Guy” here at ShiftingLanes. Which is very odd, mostly because I grew up a Muscle Car guy. My Dad owned a Mustang and a Corvette at different points in his life. I had no choice but to embrace the distant thunder that was an American V8. The Classics were my bedroom posters of choice, Mustang, Charger, Corvette and the Original Viper GTS with nary an import in sight. Along the road something changed, somehow I now know more about “JDM” engines than anyone else here at ShiftingLanes. Pretty severe change considering my Muscle Car upbringing. Eventually I bought my IS300, and that has lead into my current project, finding a suitable engine to swap into it. Which in turn lead to another future project, a resto-modded Datsun 510. Thing is I know more about Japanese engines then I ever thought I would.

So put your knowledge to the test, how well do you know engines from the Land of the Rising Sun?
