This Stunt Vehicle Can Be Disguised As Any Car. How They Do It Is Unbelievable!

Our eyes have deceived us again!

This Mad Max looking vehicle, called The Mill BLACKBIRD, is an action director’s new best friend. It’s a resizable and customizable vehicle rig that can perform driving maneuvers without using the actual car you’re trying to portray. This is a literal stunt car that can take the place of whatever car you’re trying to shoot. Want a Mustang GT to drift around a corner? How about if you want a Corvette Z06 instead? Shooting with the BLACKBIRD allows you to gather all of your stunt and driving scenes, and the car can be ‘photoshopped’ in post-processing. blackbird-sonicblackbird cgiThis mobile green screen is pure awesome and is powered by an electric motor that can be programmed to simulate driving characteristics of any vehicle. The platform can be stretched, shortened, widened, and customized with different car’s wheels and suspension geometry to help add to the visual trickery. If they didn’t release this behind the scenes film, none would have been the wiser.
