Sure The New Focus RS Is Faster, But Does it Sound Better?

It didn’t take long for enthusiasts to realize the conservative stock exhaust system on the new Focus RS is not perfectly suited to the character of this car. With an aftermarket system like the one in the video from Miltek the sound is greatly improved and the backfires are much louder like a Group B rally car.

This new RS sounds very good for a four-cylinder but can it compare to the old five-cylinder used in the MK2 RS? The Volvo sourced engine used in the previous generation RS is basically half a V-10 engine and a recipe for a better sound. Sure the new RS is much faster and offers the benefits of AWD but can it beat the old car’s five-cylinder sound?
