Clarkson Is Going To Drive Through An HBO Show? What?

Yes you read that correctly, Jeremy Clarkson, along with Hammond and May, is set to launch The Grand Tour this fall. According to a report, the first episode is a bit of a doozy.

Andy Wilman just gave a seriously in-depth interview and if you’ve missed it, you can read all about it right here where it gives details on the Top Gear exit as well as what TGT will involve. What we’ve just found out is that the first episode will have a 70 minute run time.

We’re still desperate for any teasers for The Grand Tour, and thankfully producer Andy Wilman has dropped some seriously huge bombshells.

Firstly, the Amazon Prime show starring Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will launch with a 70-minute episode, while their deal is currently for 12 shows a year for three years, with an option to extend it further.

What’s more, it looks like there will be some content crossover with HBO powerhouse “Game of Thrones.”

Best news of all is that one segment of the series will see Clarkson drive through the vast Game of Thrones set – so we’re hoping for some kind of Westeros cameo.

But wait there’s more!

Plus, 90% of the series has been shot, and all of it will be in shiny 4K quality.

So we have a long run time, topical humor, and the show’s first season is nearly complete and in 4K? Pinch me I must be dreaming. Let’s hope this thing gets here quick because October seems so far away.
