Spec Miata Racer Goes From Last To First In A Lap You Need To See To Believe.

This is one that’s going to have you scratching your head in disbelief.

I’m sure by now you’ve seen countless videos of people ripping through the fields of races. Hell we’ve even shown you some (this one and this one being particularly impressive). But when you think about difficulty in racing, spec Miata holds a special place in people’s hearts. Miata’s are much maligned cars, but their handling prowess cannot be argued which is one of the many reasons why spec Miata racing is so popular. All these cars have roughly the same amount of power, making it more about skill than balance of power to win races.

Thus, the following video is insanely impressive. Joey Jordan was participating in a Teen Mazda Challenge event at Thunderhill Raceway. He started in last place. By the end of turn 6, he was in 3rd. And by the end of lap 1?

This kid has some skills. Wow.
