When you’re bold enough to gloat about your awards then you should be ready for someone to call you out on your bullshit. That’s why people like Mahk, from the Zebra Corner YouTube channel, is exactly the type of hero we need right now, in our fight against nonsensical and self ingratiating advertisements on television.
We’ve been following Mahk ever since he began roasting these “Real People” commercials, which we still believe are the single worst car advertisement campaign that has ever existed. EVER! The last time he criticized Chevrolet for bragging about their J.D. Power Initial Quality award winning cars. That parody basically encouraged the entire internet to google: Just what the hell does “Initial Quality” mean anyway? And what they’ve found was it meant absolutely nothing if you planned to own your new car longer than 90 days.
This time, Mahk has gone to greater lengths to roast all of the other self-aggrandizing awards that Chevrolet has scrolled on a giant monolithic slab, fitting to scare off apes into beating each other with bones.
Like we’ve said before in our other stories about Zebra Corner: Keep doing this dirty work, it has to be done! Everyone should subscribe to content creators like them so they can keep the world honest and real. Because no consumer benefits from nonsense like Chevrolet’s “Real People” ad campaign.
