The Fate Of The Furious is out, and holy crap, did the world take notice! Not only did it beat out other nerd movie franchises but it set a record for the biggest weekend opening of all time. Now there’s a video floating around featuring Dennis McCarthy, the Fast & Furious franchise’s car coordinator. He’s the guy behind all of the cars that you’ve seen on the big screen. Aside from the actors, he might be the next most crucial part of the franchise altogether.
In this interview from Wired, he breaks down the primary cars from each and every movie. Now that there are eight films total, the list of star cars is long and distinguished. Ranging from Mazda RX-7 to Jensen Interceptors, these cars were meticulously picked to appeal and represent a broad range of fanbases all over the world.
