Know Your GT-R: 1995 Skyline GT-R BCNR33

The R33 is the next evolution of the R32. It’s faster, it’s stiffer, it’s more stable, and it’s more fun! It was heavier than the outgoing platform but it still manages to outperform in all areas, especially refinement. The increased body stiffness and better weight distribution complements the capabilities of the improved 4WD system the ATTESA E-TS PRO. This system is capable of controlling the torque of both rear wheels independently through an active limited slip differential. This technological advancement allowed the Skyline GT-R BCNR33 to shave 21 seconds off the R32’s Nurburgring time. This achievement was so significant that Nissan proceeded to advertise the car with it, calling it “The story of -21 seconds.”
