America’s Jeremy Clarkson Gets An Awkward Carthrottle Interview

Our friends at Carthrottle has a knack for landing awesome opportunities and giving awkward interviews. First they got to be the first people to get a ride in a Bugatti Chiron, then they got to give Top Gear’s Rory Reid the most awkward interview of his life. Now they landed another awesomely awkward interview with comedian, car collector, tv show host, and what we think is America’s answer to Jeremy Clarkson, Jay Leno.

Alex Kersten from Carthrottle interviewed Leno in an atypical interview setting, the pit lanes of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The buzzing of cars flying around the track is poorly and comedically recorded throughout the interview, while Kersten constantly tried to impress the mega car collector with his Mazda MX5 named “Phil” and his E36 M3 named “Colin.”

Jay Leno currently has a show called Jay Leno’s Garage on NBC, where he talks about various topics and cars with different guests. It’s a thoroughly entertaining show that should be considered while we await for the actual Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May to show up on Amazon Prime in Fall 2016.

If you want to watch The Grand Tour, you’ll need an Amazon Prime subscription and if you haven’t done so, you can sign up and get more details about the show by clicking here.
