Is The New Audi R8 Better Than It’s Predecessor? Let’s Find Out.

If you haven’t seen or heard about it, Motor Trend has stepped up it’s game in the video department recently. They’ve been cranking out some of the best reviews and head to head match-ups in the last 1-2 years. The content they’re producing is also hugely entertaining and the journalists they have on staff are particularly engaging.

What I believe to be their premier show called “Ignition” can vary in topic, but generally keeps to the car review platform very well. Jonny Lieberman has been a presenter and writer for Motor Trend for a while now and in this episode of Ignition, which comes out on YouTube, he takes on the brand new Audi R8 V10 Plus and compares it to the previous generation. The new R8 had many enthusiasts balking at it’s looks as the Audi faithful were hoping for more of a redesign.

Looks aside, will the R8 continue to force itself in to the legitimate supercar conversation? Let’s find out.
