Alpine A120 Set To Be Revealed In February 2016

Well, well, well. We FINALLY have confirmation that Alpine will be revealing it’s long awaited next new car in February. A vague and anticipation enhancing teaser was just posted on twitter and we have it.

Yup. It’s a mountain, but we largely expect it to look a lot like the Celebration Concept that they unveiled last year. Here are the images from that rumor mill.

The older renderings are stunning and not that far off from what was just teased. According to Car Scoops, this is what it might look like according to the patent filings.

It’s likely not going to see U.S. shores, but this is a big boon to the current boom happening in the 2-door, European, light weight sports car market. With Alfa’s release of the 4C, Porsche restyling the Cayman/Boxter/now 718, we could be seeing another golden age of sports cars beginning. And I couldn’t be happier.
