Pagani Huayra BC – The Big C Edition

Scratch that, BC stands for Benny Caiola. Why is he so special? He is Pagani’s first ever customer. Horacio Pagani brought the Pagani Zonda to the Geneva International Motor Show 17 years ago, Benny Caiola loved it so much that he bought the first one when it became available one year later. Getting a car named after you for being such a loyal customer is not bad at all. It’s especially endearing since this version of the Pagani Huayra is edgier, more focused, and more hardcore. Just look at the gigantic rear wing and exposed carbon fiber!

This special Huayra will be powered by an engine created by the Mercedes Benz AMG division that supposedly will crank out 800 horsepower to the rear wheels. Couple that powerplant with a load just shy of 2,700 pounds and you get a nasty weight to power ratio of 3.35 pounds per horsepower. The car also has new suspension and body panels and carbon fiber bits compared to the original Huayra, which looks like a tame grocery getter sitting next to the BC version. If you haven’t noticed by now the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show has been one of the hottest auto shows to date, and this Pagani has to compete for attention with the Bugatti Chiron, the Lamborghini Centenario, the Koenigsegg Regera, and even smaller car companies like the Apollo Arrow. We can’t wait until a comparo comes out to really settle who’s best!
