Guys, we’re in a rut. There’s nothing really good going on in the Top Gear or Grand Tour universe right now. Well at least nothing we can see. Top Gear is done filming until the fall when we’ll get yet another new iteration of the show now that Chris Evans has departed. Also, we’re anxiously awaiting the beginning of Clarkson, Hammond, and May’s new show The Grand Tour. There’s nothing to write about.
Oh wait! Yes there is as we continue to get little bits and snatches of the boys working on their new show. This latest video comes directly from their Facebook page and it gives us a glimpse into what we can potentially expect from them. Given what we’re seeing, it’s vintage them and makes us want to see what they have up their sleeves even more.
Here’s the latest teaser called “Gentle Rentals.”
It sounded that way when you got it? Riiiiiight. Actually, the way the Range Rover sounds after they’ve been through with it reminds me exactly of this rock tumbler.
I’d say that’s a pretty accurate representation of what they’ve done. This is something they’ve done countless times when the three were on Top Gear. The whole “we broke the car” bit has been done before, but it’s still not any less entertaining. These three just entertain no matter what, even when they are assembling lawn mower engines.
If this is what we can expect from the boys, we quite literally cannot wait.
