The Grand Tour’s Homecoming Will Prove This Show Will Succeed

So episode two was a bit of a flop. So what? People are forgetting that, even thought the boys have been together for years, this is a new show and there will be growing pains.

Clarkson, Hammond, and May just released the trailer for their 3rd episode and it looks like it’s going to be FAR better than the second installment. Why? Because it’s more of what we’re used to from them. First they are home in the UK which means they will be far more relaxed and back to their usual selves. Second, the trailer for it is a marked improvement and is chock full of what we want to see.

Check it out.

Three cars that don’t belong together at all? Looks like a metaphor for the boys themselves. Drifting 2 of them? Awesome. The demolition of Clarkson’s actual house? Just perfect. I’m hugely excited for this one and I think you should be too.

Seriously, everyone just give it some time to settle it. They’re trying to poke fun at themselves from the past and make the show it’s own entity. I predict this episode will be a big step in the right direction.
