VIDEO: Fire is Bad. Burnout is Good. Fiery Burnouts Are Just Evil

Let’s hope this doesn’t become a race prep ritual. Sure, fires are hot and might be a good quick way of warming up some tires destined for quarter mile races, but we can’t help thinking that others will try the same feat with different results. Don’t get us wrong, this is TOTALLY cool! This GoPro Awards finalist video shows a dragster’s wheels being doused with fuel right before a big flame is applied, engulfing almost the entire car. The burnout then commenced producing something totally nasty and awesome. Cheers to whoever thought this was a good idea:
