Drag Racers, both the cars and the pilots, are a special breed. Some might say that driving in a straight line takes zero to no skill. I say, those that say this have no idea what they are talking about.

Top Fuel Dragsters, the top of the speed heap, do the quarter mile in around 4 seconds. Considering the fact that many sports and supercars can just barely do 0-60 in around 4 seconds makes this feat all that more astonishing. So why does this take that much skill? It’s pedal to the floor and go straight right? Well, in its simplest terms, yes. But what we do not see is the point of view of the driver and how terrifyingly quick these cars truly are.

After watching this, if you can honestly say this takes no skill, you should be flogged.
