We promise this will be the one and only time we talk about the pop megastar, Justin Bieber, on our automotive site. Unless he buys another Ferrari or wrecks and dies in an exotic car, this will be the last time we mention his name.
The Barrett-Jackson event, “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions”, just announced that Justin Bieber’s custom Ferrari 458 Italia F1 Edition, built by Ryan Friedlinghaus and West Coast Customs (Yes… that shop from Pimp My Ride) will be up for auction. The 2011 458 Italia is equipped with the Liberty Walk wide body kit and has been wrapped with a Frozen Blue color wrap.
According to the auction posting found here, it looks like the Italia was involved in an accident.
Lot #1372 – Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase Justin Bieber’s 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia F1 Edition custom-built by West Coast Customs. Exterior wrapped in Frozen Blue chrome equipped with a wide-body kit by Liberty Walk includes full custom fender flares, front splitter, side skirt splitter and rear wing. Interior includes a custom 2,000-Watt 10-inch subwoofer with matched MB Quart separates. Factory custom interior created to Justin’s specifications. Custom 20″ 3-piece Forgiato Dieci-ECL wheels. On 08/26/14 CARFAX shows a California damage report. Vehicle involved in a rear-end collision, airbags did not deploy.
We aren’t fans of Bieber and his music but after seeing what he has done to this Ferrari, we now wish that his talents were never discovered. Perhaps this 458 Italia would have had the chance to be unmolested and raced around racetracks like it was designed. But that’s just our two cents, unlike Bieber’s trillion of cents.
