The U.S. and Cuba relations have improved over the past couple of years. Back in 2015 each country opened up their doors and restored diplomatic relations, allowing their citizens to travel and soak in each others cultures. Things are now good. And it didn’t take long before a lone American, by the name of BJ Baldwin, went ahead and gave the Cubans that sweet, Hickory-smoked, American freedom taste, in the form of sheer horsepower. Something the Cubans aren’t too familiar with as they’re used to driving in American classic cars retrofitted with Russian powerplants.
In this episode of Recoil, BJ Baldwin jumped in his 850 horsepower Monster trophy truck and kicked up a ton of Cuban earth. This isn’t the first time he terrorized a city. He’s done it once before while hunting a Sasquatch.
From Toyo Tires YouTube Channel:
BJ Baldwin’s 850-horsepower trophy truck rips through the streets of Havana, Cuba for the most epic drive the car-crazy country has every witnessed. Recoil 4 is a seven-minute thrill ride through the streets of Havana that includes a collection of never-before seen stunts including a soaring 191-foot flight that registers as the biggest residential jump ever landed by a trophy truck. While Hollywood requires green screens to pull off jaw-dropping stunts, BJ and the crew just need his truck, a couple of Cuban cigars and the streets to blow the minds of locals and viewers at home alike.
