Oh Hail No!

Here’s a different perspective of the INSANE amounts of hail that managed to shut down a huge chunk of the Nürburgring for the ADAC Zurich 24 Hour Race. This video, taken from the perspective of spectators, recorded how awfully fast the weather moved in to completely wreck the Nürburgring. Watch as one poor Porsche managed to lock up, slip, and slowly slide towards the guard rails. The video also shows the army of emergency vehicles marshalling the race during the shutdown. However, the weather eventually cleared up and the race concluded quite epically where Mercedes claimed a historic 1-2-3-4 finish.
