NHRA Countdown to the Championship points update

Good Afternoon race fans!

Happy Monday! I thought that since we are officially halfway through the NHRA Countdown to the Championship, I would do a points update. So far the battles have been epic and the level of competition has been heightened. You definitely won’t want to miss these next three races.

I had mentioned previously that in each class they were awarding a Countdown courtesy spot to those who weren’t in the Top 10, but had shown up for every race, taken part in qualifying and all of that. This makes everything a little more intense and it gives those teams and drivers who would’ve potentially been acting as spoilers outside the Top 10, more of a chance to go for the title.
