This afternoon Mecum announced that they will be returning to the Las Vegas Convention Center, November 9th – 11th, for their 7th annual Las Vegas auction. This time there is an estimated 1,000 American muscle cars, Corvettes, classics, exotics, Hot Rods, trucks, customs and more expected to cross the block.
One car you won’t want to miss is a one of 350 2022 Lamborghini Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae (Lot S108.1) with a mere 97 miles. This comes from The JP Assets Collection which also features a 2023 Ferrari 812 GTS Convertible, (Lot S92.1) and three Mercedes-Benz SLS’.
Other featured collections include The George Walker Collection in which there are 16 vehicles that will mostly be offered at no reserve, including a purple-over-gray 1933 Ford Roadster (Lot F179), a custom 1934 Ford Hot Rod (Lot F180) with a two tone brown and tan interior and an orange exterior. On the more rare side is a 1929 Stylson (Lot F176) that leads the motorcycle offerings. There is one car in the collection with a reserve and it’s a fantastic 1985 DeTomaso Pantera GT5-S (Lot F181).
The Holden Grace Collection offers more than a dozen lots including a 1937 Ford Custom Cabriolet (Lot S20), which has recently finished a four year restoration. It is finished in a gorgeous custom Maui Deep Sea Blue metallic paint and powered by a Corvette 5.7L LS1 V-8 engine and 6 speed manual transmission. Other lots in the collection include a highly original 1977 Pontiac Firebird Esprit Skybird (Lot S10) with just 76,000 miles and a numbers matching 305 CI V-8 engine and a 1970 Chevrolet K5 Blazer (Lot S21) that has been finished in an Empire Turquoise metallic paint with a complementary two tone turquoise and black interior and is powered by a numbers matching 350 CI V-8 engine and a 4 speed manual transmission.
There is a strong Road Art selection at this auction and it includes almost 100 items from The Montana Collection, including gas pumps, gas pump globes, neon and tin signs and other collectible automobilia. All of which are being offered at no reserve. There are 20 gas pumps in this collection and they are headlined by a pair of original, restored 1924 Grizzly Gasoline Gilbert and Barker Model 67 Visible (Lot Z353) and 1931 Orange Crown Aviation Milwaukee Model 781 Clock Face (Lot Z355) Gas Pumps. Among the 50 neon and tin signs is an original 1949 Gulf Dealer Double Sided Porcelain Sign (Lot Z336).
Auction coverage will be on MotorTrend: Friday, November 10th from 11 am – 5 pm (live) and Saturday, November 11th from 11 am – 5 pm (live), all times are Pacific.
In person, telephone and internet bidding starts at $100 with standard bidder registration providing the bidder and a guest access to the auction for the three day auction.
General admission tickets can be purchased in advance online for $20 per person, per day, and for $30 at the door and online after November 8th. Children 12 and younger receive complimentary admission.
