The regional calendars for the always exciting Lamborghini Super Trofeo series have been officially announced and in 2024, they will be represented on the world stage like never before.
Lamborghini Squadra Corse will be making their maiden assault in the top levels of both the FIA WEC and IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and the one make series will be playing a large role on the support bill of each in 2024 as well as continuing their relationship with SRO Motorsport and the GT World Challenge.
The longest running Lamborghini one make championship, Super Trofeo Europe, will be present at three WEC rounds. They will kick of their season at the end of April on home soil in Imola, then make an earlier than usual trip to Spa-Francorchamps which holds the distinction of being the only track to have featured in every edition of Super Trofeo Europe since the inaugural season in 2009. The third and final WEC appearance is will take place at one of the worlds most iconic tracks, Circuit de la Sarthe in Le Mans. This marks the first time the one make series has supported the 24 Hours of Le Mans and what is expected to be a full entry list of Huracan Super Trofeo EVO2s, will grace the track on the same weekend the Lamborghini SC63 LMDh makes it’s 24 Hours debut. A month later, Super Trofeo Europe will return to its roots as they join the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup support bill at the Nurburgring before heading to the penultimate round in Barcelona.
