We’re Certain Amazon Prime Is Trying To Kill Clarkson, Hammond, And May

The Grand Tour is still months away but if you’ve been following our coverage, you know the Boys have been busting their butts, perhaps even more than when they were doing Top Gear. With all the news that has come out regarding the new show, we’re fairly certain Amazon Prime is trying to kill Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May. We joke of course, but the pictures that has surfaced in the past couple of months document the lengths these guys go through to put on a program.

It all started with a video captured by a bystander that was curious enough about a highly modified Mercedes. Shortly thereafter Clarkson tweeted “Had a bit of an accident,” and attached a picture of a crashed car. We’re not sure whether this was the same car or not, but the license plate suggests it is not. However, the deep treads on the tires suggest an off-road variety similar to the jacked up Mercedes, which may mean a possible episode involving modified used cars for off-road purposes.

Accident CHMThen there was a tweet about Clarkson attempting “The most dangerous stunt I’ve ever attempted. This may well be a goodbye.” The Top Gear trio has done some dangerous stuff in the past, but the picture below suggest this WAS the most dangerous thing they’ve ever attempted and it qualifies as their closest shave thus far.ClarksonMore recently, Clarkson updated his fans by saying “It’s been a rough day on the Grand Tour. And Hammond and I look worse.” Showing a picture of James May below. Followed by a “See what I mean” with Hammond’s picture.may-grandtour hammond-grandtour

These boys certainly do look weathered from whatever it is they’re doing. According to Jeremy “Big crew. Long day. Middle of fucking nowhere in Africa. Loads of beer. Good music. Crew happy. The Grand Tour. Coming soon.” It looks like Amazon Prime may be getting their money’s worth, and we cannot wait to see the finished product. Just stay alive, Boys!
